No place on earth can fresher ingredients be found than Southern California! From the freshest fish, produce and meats, it all comes together as California-Inspired Contemporary Italian cuisine. Our chef-driven kitchen produces some of the many classic Italian dishes such as Piccatas, Marsalas and Parmigianas as well as many delicious contemporary dishes. Lighter & healthier is always on our minds here at Vitello's. There is always an array of fresh fish available too, such as Branzino and Salmon, just to name a few. The menu also includes Steaks and Chops and homemade soups and salads. Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten-Free options are yours for the asking. Daily specials round out the menu each day. Lunch, Dinner or our Weekend Jazz Brunch, whichever you choose, the kitchen at Vitello's Restaurant surely won't disappoint!

    OMG, the hostess was so nice about my being late. I really appreciated that . She got us set right away when we came in. Our server was so nice. He was definitely easy to talk to and to be around. He has great hair, by the way. 👍 The issue was the food. The Caesar salad was just OK. The bread and butter were absolutely delicious.❤️❤️ The mussels I ordered were a bit gritty. I couldn’t finish them off . It was really disappointing. My friend ordered a seafood pasta. The pasta itself really had no flavor. I think the worst part was when she stopped eating it because she said one of the clams was bad (tasted spoiled). That would ruin anyone’s appetite. The staff is excellent , but the food is not so much. I had heard so many great things about this place. So disappointed with the food, I still want to come back because you gotta try again sometimes.

    Always a good experience no matter the time of day. Food is consistently delicious and the attentive service always comes with a smile. As an additional bonus, mock-tails are generous and well made. This is a go-to spot.

    The food, the ambiance, the service, the neighborhood… brilliant. The only thing that would put it over the top would be a secret room that you enter through a bookcase or something like that.

    I love an Old Hollywood vibe and a history this restaurant has it. If you go, the inside of the menu has a full page of sordid details about this place. If you haven't visited the Rendition Room or Martini Lounge, be sure to ask your server for a tour. Cocktails are good. It is a good place to go for a nite cap. Food: What drew me here my first time was the caesar salad. This time I had the mushroom chicken pasta that was very flavorful. When something is this good, we try to figure out the ingredients so we can try this at home. Birthday dessert was a cannoli and tiramisu. I think I gravitated towards the cannoli but the tiramisu was very good. Parking: Valet or off street, depending on your preference.

    We had a great dinner at Vitello’s, which is always the perfect spot for good food, cocktails and a laid back evening of conversation among friends. Our server was friendly and attentive, and skillfully juggled ours with several other tables, never dropping the ball or missing a beat. The place was Saturday night busy, and there was plenty of energy in the room, which felt festive without being chaotic. The fried calamari & shrimp appetizer was fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked, and the 2, slightly acidic sauces contrasted nicely with the richness of the fish. The artisan bread, really a freshly-baked, old school white Italian bread a la 1960’s NYC, was spot on, and the accompanying truffle butter gave it a nice boost (though plain old butter would have been just as wonderful in this piping hot loaf). Entrees were top notch. My porcini rubbed filet mignon was cooked a perfect medium, and the combo of the rub and reduced sauce gave it a rich, Earthy flavor. My friends orders Cabonara, Eggplant Parm and Chicken Parm, all of which checked all the boxes, leaving everyone quite satisfied. Between the stellar food and some excellently crafted cocktails we were too stuffed for dessert — but we’ll leave room next time. And there will definitely be a next time very soon.
