Vito Restaurant is celebrating over 44 years of delighting its customers with the best in fine Italian cuisine. As a family-owned-and-operated restaurant located in Santa Monica, California we are dedicated to providing exquisite food and impeccable service to create the perfect dining experience. Step through the front doors and begin your journey to the heart of Italy.

Ernesto has been our Chef for over 32 years. He continues to Wow us and our guests as he cooks every meal with love and unmatched flavor. Our signature dish, Spaghetti Della Casa, is a guest favorite and often called the best pasta dish you've ever tasted.

Vito is proud to offer customers an outdoor dining experience. Santa Monica is one of the most beautiful Cities in the Nation and our weather is usually fantastic. If it's a little cool, we have heaters to keep you comfortable. Come experience it for yourself, nightly starting at 4:30pm.

Old Fashion
One of the earliest well documented Cocktails with roots from as far back as 1806. Made with Whiskey.
Vesper
Invented and Made famous by James Bond in Ian Fleming's 1953 Novel Casino Royale. Made with Vodka and Gin.
Side Car
This Brandy Classic appeared at the end of World War I in both London and Paris.
Sazerac
Arguably America's Oldest Cocktail. Prepared with Rye Bourbon and served in an Old-Fashioned glass.

A Refreshing take on the Vodka Martini with the Taste of Grapefruit. A great alternative on hot days and nights.
St. Germain Blanc
A Vito Specialty that blends St. Germain Elderberry Flower Liqueur and Sauvignon Blanc wine. A very special recipe.
Espresso Martini
Specially crafted at Vito's to focus on the espresso while using vodka and Frangellico to give it a kick.
Santa Monica Cosmopolitan
Our take on this classic honors it as a gin cocktail. Gran Marnier adds a unique taste with fresh squeezed lime.
Chocolate Martini
A dessert like concoction that focuses on what you really want in this cocktail- rich chocolate flavor!
Chambord Lemon Drop
A serious vodka martini even for traditionalists. Fresh lemon adds to the flavor while Chambord provides the finish.

I have been to Vetos many times and love the food. I guest of mine from out of town asked us to take him to a place he could have a good dinner, I thought of Vitos. As always the food was great and the service was as well. What I did not expect was after dinner my guest telling me how he had lived in Italy for many years, and the food here tasted just like he remembered.

Vito was excellent, as usual. They had a change in ownership a little over one year ago, and Vito has remained the same; a unique, delicious dining experience with friendly, professional staff and incredible food. I had their halibut special, and my husband had the chicken parm, after we both enjoyed our Cesar salad for two as an appetizer. The new owners are friendly also. You cannot go wrong here; incredible food and service at every visit.

Another delicious meal, this time with friends from out of town. Great service from Ray and his support team. Really made to feel welcome by owners Sean and Melissa. Totally recommendable!

Vito's never disappoints! This is a family favorite and we were there to celebrate a birthday. Ceasar salad, lasagna, gnochi and one of the evening's specials - seafood risotto with scallops and shrimp. Everything was excellent including the tiramisu for dessert to celebrate the birthday. Carlos was our waiter and did an excellent job!

The food was good. Service a little slow. Music was so loud I couldn’t hear my dinner companion from across the table. It sort of ruined the dining experience for me.
