Vons Steakhouse & Oyster Bar is locally owned and has been proudly serving Edmonton the highest quality of beef and seafood available since 1988.

Featuring a premium dining room, and a premium casual lounge , with modern illuminated, marble 30 ft Bar and Sushi & oyster bar this restaurant has something for everyone.

Happy Hour from Tuesday to Friday starts at 4 p.m.- 6 p.m. We serve our full menu in both the restaurant and oyster bar areas. Our Oyster bar generally features over 10 varieties of oysters are are shucked to order right in front of you by our bar chefs. We offer 15 wines by a glass with specific attention to Pacific Rim and Canadian Wines.

Dining reservations are recommended but not required. We love spontaneous visits. The lounge, patio and oyster bar area is first come first served. ( some exceptions )

The service was excellent—attentive and friendly from start to finish. The food was delicious, with every dish exceeding expectations, and the price was very reasonable. A great dining experience all around!

Went to Von’s to try it out since they moved downtown. Walked into the lounge and there was only one table occupied. Went to sit down and hostess made us come back and give our name. They don’t have a bar menu, it’s the same as the main restaurant. We were on our way to the hockey game and didn’t want a huge meal but wanted finger food. $31 for a burger? The first waiter was rude but the second one was excellent.

Date night with an entourage. Louis and the team took great care of us, with an impeccable cuisine of flavours. A late night for the boys. But, well worth it. Thanks again!

Prime rib, Steak Oscar and mussels were all exceptional. Server was very skilled and intuitive about our wants. A very good experience. I found it pricey, even on happy hour pricing.

I've been a frequent visitor to Vons, however after tonight's experience I may have to consider other options for dining. Service was incredibly slow considering the restaurant was less than half capacity, maybe one quarter full. Server also had difficulty getting order correct, on three different occasions order was brought incorrect. The food was good as expected, however, we were a bit shocked by the size of the ice cream scoop sized mash potatoes that accompanied the 14oz prime rib, given that they were forgotten in the first place. Almost seems common from many restaurants, value not equal to want you're paying for.

The service above all was top notch!!! We booked a head of time but did not realize there was a party booked so it was busy! No big deal! I’m it server was so kind, our meal was amazing and the wait time was not long at all! Their wine list selection is fabulous ! Loving the new space with a modern feel to it! Highly recommend this restaurant and would go back again !

There was a large Christmas party going on which was loud and resulted in very high wait times for our dinner. Ultimately the dinner came out cold and steak undercooked. They did provide free dessert due to the delays which also ended up taking a very long time to come out.
