    We had a great lunch date at Water Grill. We started with the Trojan roll, crab leg nuggets, and clams. We both then went with the burger and a side salad. Everything was delicious. The burgers were cooked exactly how we ordered and like them. Our server was awesome. He recalled us from a previous visit and even remembered our preferences. All in all a great experience.

    Amazing fresh seafood, caring and attentive service, fun environment!! It is Dungeness crab season and we had the most amazing 2 lb critter!!

    Beautiful restaurant interior. While we had dinner, the bar area (2) looked really nice. Server was very professional. Excellent martini! Great sourdough rolls. Scampi was very tasty.

    the experience was lacking in several ways. It took over 40 minutes to order even though the restaurant was near empty. Next, you were out of several items. The tuna Hamachi appetizer was so sloppy it in no way resembled nor tasted like what I am used to despite ordering this several times before. Your shrimp scampi was also so bad that I did not eat it. The shrimp were tough, almost rubbery and the pasta tasted old like it was heated up. The key lime pie was nearly in liquid form with the meringue broken up and fallen over and the crust broken down in the middle. Clearly the chef had already gone home and someone was still putting out dishes when you should have just closed. Honestly it killed me to pay nearly $100. for such a bad meal coupled with service that was not great.

    We always have a great time at the Water Grill. We frequent several of their locations and all are great. We enjoy the San Diego location as we can walk there from home. Our meal was great. We started with the crab nuggets and scallops on the half shell. After that we both had the Chilean sea bass. All of the food was delicious. The service was great. We had a nice bottle of wine with our meal. We highly recommend Water Grill.
