With 4 decades of experience, Wolfgang Zwiener didn't duplicate an exceptional steakhouse, he improved on it to make Wolfgang's Steakhouse exceptional. The porterhouse steak for one, two, four or more, is an outstanding choice. The atmosphere, expanded menu & professional service will appeal to even the most exacting diners.                                                                           So incredibly loud it was almost uncomfortable. Service was fast, but our waiter didn’t say much and wasn’t very welcoming or engaging. Food was excellent.

                                                                          Because the way of the restaurant is built, the level of the noise can raise high when it’s busy. But everything else was great. I’m a NYer and this restaurant is the classic NY stake house to me. My friend and I left there happy.

                                                                          Fantastic service again in Wolfgangs! A brilliant birthday celebration given by the fantastic staff. Food was perfect. Service was impeccable! Will be back again and again

                                                                          The steak was amazing. The place is loud. The waiters are on the ball and attentive but they were definitely intent on turning over the table sooner than later, so we felt a tad rushed. As for “value,” you don’t go to a top notch steakhouse like this for the value. Overall it was a great dinner.

                                                                          As always, excellent, excellent food. But seven happy birthday serenades during our dinner (no fault of the establishment) and several large groups spread around the Park Avenue restaurant amplified the noice to the “energetic” level. The usually attentive waiters were off their game, perhaps shaken by Wolfgang’s recent death. This was a Sunday 6:30 dinner for three.

                                                                          We had to wait 27 minutes for our table, and then stuck in a small corner. Also out of Guiness.. :( Wait staff solid, food great…- just too tight & wait too long when we had reservations.
