As always, another fine meal at Wolansky‘s Grill. Excellent service, excellent shellfish, appetizers, and steak entrée, at not crazy prices.

Have been here many times. The food and service is always good. I like the variety of steak and always love the hash browns 😋 it was my co worker's first time and she enjoyed it very much.

We asked medium rare and stakes where more like well done. In a place like this is uncceptable, more over with a 50 Dollar tip. The bacon was very good.

Heidi was our server and helped enhance the experience. Helpful, professional, super nice. Steak was amazing. This is our new go to steak restaurant. We had the double sirloin and porterhouse for the 4 of us with some great leftovers. It was cooked and cut just perfectly. And the great crisp burnt top of the steak was incredible. Wish we could go back more often but a little pricy so we will save this place for special occasions. Or you could just have a burger or steak salad but why miss out on amazing steak ! !!!

Traditional NYC Steakhouse looked good upon arrival, nice atmosphere however maitre ‘d immediately was extremely unfriendly and rudely waved us to our table as he walked away before we even pulled our chairs out (ourselves). I noted it wasn’t just us that felt this way after witnessing another table that arrived soon after us sharing surprised looks with one another when they got the same treatment. Ordered food from an unnamed server; $78 prime rib, 2x filet mignon, fries, broccoli, spinach, peppercorn sauce. Server forgot the spinach from the order but quickly brought when reminded. Completely forgot to bring the peppercorn sauce but we couldn’t be bothered to remind a second time. The filets were superb, as were the sides we got. Prime rib was a poor cut, fatty and with sinew running though the centre so I left what looked like half the portion. We then waited a good 10 minutes for our plates to be cleared. None of empty drinks/glassware were removed throughout the meal (we weren’t offered more drinks either) so we sat in a cluttered messy table for too long. Decided we didn’t want to prolong the experience so asked for the bill. No Apple Pay or card machine at table so had to hand over my card to be taken out of sight to be charged (remarkable that practice still exists, bank would probably not pay out if used fraudulently or cloned whilst not in owners possession. - it happens!!) $277 bill plus the $50 tip customers are expected to pay regardless in the USA. Pretty disappointing for a $330 meal. Food was ok but maitre ‘d attitude, service and overall experience was poor. Far to expensive not to enjoy your meal out, sorry.
