Founded in 2013 by Davin and Jessica Waite, Wrench & Rodent is a space for culinary exploration and collaboration. This cozy, eclectic restaurant quickly became a destination for those who appreciated Chef Davin’s creative approach to celebrating local and responsibly sourced fish and produce.

In addition to a set sushi menu, Wrench offers an omakase as well as a list of specials that change daily. The team is committed to reducing waste and enhancing flavor by elevating all cuts of fish and veggies, as well as featuring a diverse range of species. Many menu items are simple, fresh and creative, with a lesser-known fish species complimented by ingredients from the backyard garden. Byproduct utilization drives the menu as well, and recent explorations with aging techniques have led to a dry aged fish program. Plant-forward preparations are also celebrated, and a vegan omakase is available upon request.

                                                                Food was incredible. Service was sub par. She forgot a lot of things, water, soy sauce, ginger, wasabi, and two drinks that were ordered. Otherwise food and ambiance were incredible

                                                                This was definitely one of our best dining experiences. Great food, fair prices. My partner and I are such fans of lava cake, though, that we wish lava cake was a dessert option. Also, they do serve desserts, which they should mention on the website—we had the cobbler and it was REALLY good (just not lava cake 😀). We will definitely be back!

                                                                Amazing! The food was spectacular, the service fantastic and the atmosphere cozy but definitely not sleepy. Chef Davin and team delivered delicious dishes for all... I especially love that they create different and delicious options for vegetarians. It was my friends birthday and we all felt so well taken care of. Definitely converted the rest of the party to Wrench and Rodent regulars. Thanks again for everything!
