Yauatcha Soho, located in the heart of vibrant London, is an all-day dim sum teahouse offering a wide selection of modern authentic dim sum alongside European patisserie and an extensive range of teas, wine and cocktails.

The design of the restaurant is a modern interpretation of the old Chinese teahouse. At the same time, the lighting and seating embodies the atmosphere of a vibrant ‘chatter shop’, similar to the traditional Hong Kong dim sum restaurants.

The restaurant offers Cantonese dishes with a modern influence, with an extensive range of steamed, baked, grilled and fried dim sum such as Yauatcha’s signature dishes of Scallop shui mai and Venison puffs.

Savor our Steamed Dim Sum Trio featuring Pork & Prawn Shui Mai, Har Gau, and Seafood Black Truffle Dumplings, alongside Fried & Baked delights like Venison Puff and Edamame Puff. Enjoy pillowy Char Siu Bao and Pan-Fried Vegetarian Bao before choosing a signature main: Stir-Fried Rib Eye Beef, Chili Scallop & Prawn, or Sweet & Spicy Chilean Sea Bass, paired with jasmine or egg-fried rice.                         Some of the best dim sum in London, and a great place to meet friends over a relaxing meal. Also excellent main dishes. And a wonderful tea selection! I have been going regularly to Yauatcha Soho ever since it opened many years ago. The quality has has remained consistent, though prices have inevitably risen.

                        Outstanding in almost every respect. Only negative was how tightly packed together all the tables were which wasn't a problem when it quietened down but when we first arrived it was packed to bursting point. Overall though the quality and amount of food you got for the price was outstanding.

                        Lunchtime on Saturday. The food was excellent, service was great, attentive and friendly and with starters mains and deserts as well as coffee and carafe wine around £100 per person. We’ll be back

                        Fabulous food - great service. Quite noisy and we were downstairs and was quite dark. The food was not cheap but came out at £60 per head which was reasonable for such delicious food.

                        As returning guests, we had looked forward to another evening at Yauatcha. This visit, however, differed from our previous experiences. The basement level seating, while novel, made reading menus challenging in the dim lighting. Although our server remained polite throughout the meal, we would have appreciated more guidance on the menu selections, particularly given the mixed quality of the dishes we received. The dim sum offerings still impressed, but the overall experience no longer justified the premium pricing. While first-time diners may find the atmosphere engaging, we will likely explore other options for Chinese cuisine in the future.
