   This was a rough night for Zuni; unfortunately that has been my experience the last 3-4 times I’ve come here. I made this res weeks in advance but was seated at a 2 top table that they squeezed 4 people into in the middle of a pass through that was overcrowded and poorly lit. The food was excellent but the service was a mess. At one point a team member knocked my glass of wine (from a $220 bottle we’d purchased) into me splattering wine everywhere. Accidents happen. Another team member provided Wine Away spray but no one from the restaurant acknowledged or apologized for the accident. There was no offer to replace or compensate for the approximately $40 of wine that had been spilled into my lap. Our group of 4 felt like we were a bother to even be there. I was embarrassed by the entire evening. The food is really great, but we’ve consistently had lackluster service, and tonight was the final straw. Sad to say we won’t be back, despite being regular customers over the past 9 years. What a mess.

   Unfortunately, our wait staff were robots, providing emotionless service. Signature roast chicken bread salad was extremely overrated for $90! Pizza was good but maybe not for $29. Shoestring fries were good but not special.

   The fgolden fries are perfectly crispy, the fresh salad is vibrant and crisp, the chicken is tender and juicy, and the stuffing is warm and fluffy, making for an amazing meal.

   Fabulous food! 3 of us shared the delicious chicken and still had leftovers. We also had the beet salad and shoestring potatoes, both delicious. The wine was pricey but they had a decent selection. Overall very nostalgic for us, and we enjoyed the evening.

   Fantastic food- excellent quality, beautiful presentation. Great service - friendly, knowledgeable, efficient. Lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend Zuni for a wonderful dinner (or lunch)!

   Great time at Zuni as usual. We were underwhelmed by the young carrot appetizer, but loved the gnocchi and the bavette steak, however the portions were very small for the price. Drinks were delicious! We loved the San Francisco Cocktail!
